RECYCLED ASPHALT DRIVEWAY

RECYCLED ASPHALT DRIVEWAY

Recycled asphalt comes from roadways and parking lots that are grinded down when new asphalt is needing to be laid. Once grinded, the asphalt tilling’s are 100% recycled by the process of using them for recycled asphalt driveways or roadways. Recycled asphalt consists of the same materials that are in hot asphalt, which makes it a much more compact and stable option. Unlike gravel, with which when exposed to water disintegrates easily and often must be replaced; recycled asphalt does not easily segregate or wash out. With high durability and limited dust, a recycled asphalt driveway retains a unique peppered look, making it suitable for any landscape and increasing a home’s curb appeal to the maximum.

OUR PROCESS

Our estimating team will first come to site to see and learn every want you have for your recycled asphalt driveway. Our quote will note the details needed to satisfy your vision and to bring longevity and safety to your driveway surface.

We will be there to accomplish every part of the process, from beginning to end. If there is any digging or excavation needed, we will take care of gathering the locates before beginning the work.

On the day of the job, we will rip up and remove all topsoil that is in the location of the desired recycled asphalt driveway. In that location, we will dig down a minimum of 6” to give depth and maximum strength to your new driveway. We will then fill in the desired area with 6” of heavily compressed recycled asphalt. For areas of driveway that already have a strong base, we will spread 2-4” of recycled asphalt over desired area. The new driveway will be filled and compressed until required elevation level and compaction is reached.
